For our ultrapure sodium alginates and sodium hyaluronate, we maintain Drug Master Files with the US FDA.

QUALITY
NovaMatrix® manufacture PRONOVA™ sodium alginate in our facilities in Norway. We operate according to GMP guidelines and ISO standards; ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016. Furthermore NovaMatrix holds the Manufacturing License for API’s issued by the Norwegian Medicine Agency (NOMA).
OurNovaMatrixSodium Hyaluronate ultrapure products are produced by our partner, Kikkoman Biochemifa Company, Japan, under GMP guidelines; the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law of Japan, ICH Q7 and ISO standards; ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2004.

ALGINATENovaMatrix
is a linear polysaccharide consisting of (1,4)-linked b-D-mannuronate (M) and its C-5 epimer α-L-guluronate (G). The monomers can appear in homopolymeric blocks of consecutive G-residues (G-blocks), consecutive M-residues (M-blocks), alternating M and G-residues (MG-blocks) or randomly organized blocks.

SODIUM HYALURONATENovaMatrix
fermented from Streptococcus zooepidemicus, is a linear copolymer composed of (ß-1,4)-linked D-glucuronate and (ß-1,3)-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. Sodium Hyaluronate is an abundant glycosaminoglycan found in the extracellular matrix of skin, joints, eyes and most organs and tissues of all higher animals.
