• I am an educated microbiologist from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst

• We are established expert in fermentation derived secondary metabolites. Most products are antibiotics for gene selection, but products also include antimicrobial, anti-fungal, anti-cancer, antiviral, anti-parasitic and immunosuppressive reagents. Our breakthrough product was a partnership withEli Lilly’s,Elancodivision to purchase bulkHygromycin B.

Antibiotics:

• Elanco used Hygromycin B in their pig feed but our application was the emergence of genetic engineering by performing plasmid cloning utilizing an antibiotic resistance marker. AG Scientific, Inc. developed a suite of Antibiotic selection agents including Blasticidin S, G-418, Puromycin, Gentamycin, Kanamycin, Ampicillin, Streptomycin, Carbenicillin…. We began successfully promoting this item at the time to all the leading Molecular Biology companies,sigmaChemical, Stratagene, Invitrogen, Clontech, ICN, Amersham….

• Most recently we have partnered with pharmaceutical clients utilizing CRISPR technology. The same antibiotic selection is employed before CRISPR/Cas system is utilized. This has blown open the door to a number of inherited diseases previously only treated therapeutically.
